- 200 g flour
- 100 g butter
- 100 g powdered sugar

- 600 g cream
- 250 g dark chocolate
- 30 cookie(s) (Cigarettes-Russes)

Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
Russian Cigar Cake
For the base, mix the flour, butter, a pinch of salt, the powdered sugar, and the egg using the dough hook of a hand mixer, then knead with your hands until smooth. Roll out the dough into a circle (approx. 30 cm in diameter) on a floured surface. Place it in a greased and floured tart tin (26 cm in diameter) and press down the edges. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat: 175°C) for approx. 15 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire rack and then remove from the tin. Heat 300g of the cream, but do not boil, and remove from the heat. Melt the chocolate while stirring. Now pour the chocolate mixture into the tart and let it cool for approx. 30 minutes. Place the cookies close together on the chocolate cream and press down lightly. Whip the remaining cream until stiff peaks form and spread it on the tart. Dust with cocoa powder, if desired.
