Pork strips with rice and cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g long grain rice
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 600 g pork
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 300 ml broth, clear, possibly vegetable broth
  • 200 g cream
  • 1 garlic clove(s), if you like
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

easy preparation

Cook rice according to the package instructions. Slice the spring onions into rings and the meat into strips. Heat oil in a pan. Brown the meat for 5 minutes and season. Add the spring onions and sauté. Finely chop the garlic clove and sauté briefly. Remove the ingredients from the pan. Heat the butter in the frying oil. Sauté the flour in it. Deglaze with the stock and cream, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Return the meat mixture to the pan and season. Drain the rice and serve with the meat and sauce.
