Strawberry, tomato, and sour cherry jam with chili

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ kg strawberries
  • ½ kg sour cherries (cherries)
  • ½ kg tomatoes
  • 4 chili peppers, red
  • ½ kg gelling sugar 1:3

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Sweet and spicy jam that also goes well with grilled food or goat cheese

Wash the fruit and vegetables thoroughly and drain. Score the tomatoes in a cross-shaped manner, briefly pour boiling water over them, and peel. Remove the stems and cut into pieces. Deseed the sour cherries. Lightly chop the strawberries. Chop the chili peppers and seeds. Puree the fruit and vegetables together. Add the preserving sugar and cook for 5-7 minutes, until the mixture sets. Immediately transfer to clean screw-top jars and seal tightly.
