Zucchini chutney

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 kg zucchini (yellow and green)
  • 1 kg bell pepper(s) (red)
  • 500 g onion(s)
  • 1 liter tomato ketchup
  • ½ liter of spice(s) – ketchup
  • ½ tsp Tabasco
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ liter of oil
  • 2 tsp curry

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

ideal with wholemeal patties

Dice the zucchini, bell peppers, and onions and sauté in salad oil until soft. Add the remaining ingredients (if you don’t like curry, simply omit them) and bring to a boil. Stir well! Pour the hot mixture into jars like jam. It will keep for several months in a cool, dark place.
