Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g pork belly, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- some salt and pepper, from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Mix the oil and all the spices together to make a strong marinade. Score the pork belly rind several times and rub the belly thoroughly with the marinade. Place in a baking dish and roast on the middle rack of the hot oven for about 15 minutes. Turn the slices once and roast for another 10 to 15 minutes, until the desired browning is achieved.
