Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 50 g bacon, diced
  • 1 stalk(s) leek, cut into rings
  • 4 carrots, diced
  • ¼ celeriac, diced
  • 250 g couscous
  • 350 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Couscous with bacon, leek, carrots and celery

Brown the bacon cubes and leek rings in a non-stick pan. Add the carrot and celery cubes and continue to cook while stirring. Then deglaze with the vegetable stock. Mix the couscous well with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and add it to the pan. Cover the pan, turn off the heat, and let it swell for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
