Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry (roll from the refrigerated section)
  • 1 small egg(s)
  • 1 tube(s) chocolate decoration, white
  • 1 tube(s) chocolate decoration, brown

Instructions

Carefully unroll the puff pastry and spread it out on the kitchen counter (leave it on the white paper). Use cookie cutters to cut out small bunnies (or other animals), remove them from the paper, and carefully place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (make sure they’re spaced apart, divide them between two baking sheets). Brush the bunnies with well-beaten egg and place them in an oven preheated to 180°C (fan oven). Bake for about 10 minutes until they have risen and are golden brown. After baking, let them cool completely on a wire rack lined with kitchen paper. Decorate with chocolate as desired (eyes, paws, etc.). (For a savory version, sprinkle the bunnies with grated cheese before baking, for example.)
