Cheese fingers

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g wheat flour
  • n. B. Salt
  • 100 g margarine
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp water
  • some almonds, without skin
  • Flour, for dusting
  • Fat, for the baking tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

For Halloween

Mix the flour with a little salt. Add the margarine and cheese and knead. Add 1 egg yolk and a little water and mix the dough with a wooden spoon. Place the flour on the worktop, knead the dough, and then roll it out. Form the fingers and score wrinkles with the blunt side of a knife. Press a whole almond into the top of the finger to form a nail. Place the cheese fingers on a greased baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (gas mark 6) for 10-15 minutes. Let them cool and enjoy at Carnival, Halloween, or other parties.
