Crème fraîche white wine sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • ½ cup crème fraîche
  • ½ cup cream
  • some flour
  • some milk, to dilute
  • 1 shot of white wine (Canti), fruity taste
  • some white pepper
  • some chili powder
  • some salt
  • e.g. nutmeg
  • n. B. Thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, melt the butter in a saucepan. Then add a little flour to make a roux. Add half a cup of crème fraîche and the fresh cream, and mix with a little milk to ensure the sauce is smooth and not thick. Add salt, white pepper, chili, a little nutmeg, and thyme to taste and season to taste. Finally, add a splash of Canti white wine and stir again. Pairs well with pasta and turkey/chicken. The sauce can also be combined with fish or various vegetables such as cauliflower.
