Ham and herb sauce with spring onions

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 5 slices of ham (shoulder ham)
  • 1 cup crème fraîche with herbs
  • 50 g cheese, grated (e.g. Gouda)
  • 100 ml cream
  • Oil for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • vegetable broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the ham into small cubes or slices. Wash and slice the spring onions. Sauté them with the ham in a little oil. Press the garlic and add it to the ham and spring onions. Pour in the cream and stir in the herb crème fraîche. Melt the cheese in the sauce. Finally, season with salt, pepper, and vegetable broth. Serve with any type of pasta.
