Quick puff pastry sticks

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1 package of marzipan paste
  • 1 tbsp apricot jam
  • 50 g almond flakes
  • 20 g brown sugar
  • 6 tsp Nutella

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

With marzipan and chocolate

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (convection oven). Cut 6 strips of puff pastry into 6 strips and spread each with 1 teaspoon of Nutella. Cut the marzipan into 12 roughly equal strips and place them on the puff pastry strips. Fold the strips together and twist. Spread with the warmed apricot jam, sprinkle with a little brown sugar, and top with flaked almonds. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 15 minutes. If you like, you can decorate with chocolate glaze or powdered sugar. It’s very quick and tastes great. I used a roll of puff pastry from the refrigerated section, but I’m sure frozen puff pastry will work too.
