Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 eggs
- 175 g sugar
- ½ packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 g butter
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 150 ml milk
- 75 g dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 200 g flour
- 75 g almonds, ground
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 125 g dark chocolate glaze
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
for a loaf pan
Mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt in a bowl until the mixture turns light in color. Put the butter, chopped dark chocolate, and milk in a pan and melt over low heat while stirring, then let it cool and then fold it into the mixture. Fold in the finely chopped chocolate. Add the flour, ground almonds, and baking powder to the mixture. Mix everything well and pour into the tin, which has been greased with a little butter. Bake in the lower part of the oven preheated to 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 50 minutes. Do the skewer test, as every oven cooks differently. Remove from the tin. Prepare a baking tray with a wire rack and place the cake on it. Melt the dark glaze, either homemade or ready-made, and spread it over the cake and the sides with a spatula or brush. Decorate to taste and serve. Wrapped in foil, the cake will keep in the refrigerator for about 3 days.
