Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 75 g cane sugar
  • 75 g vegetable fat
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 10 drops of vanilla flavor
  • 8 drops of flavoring (lime flavor)
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp white rum
  • 8 drops of flavoring (lime flavor)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Combine flour, sugar, margarine, baking powder, 10 drops of organic vanilla flavor, and 8 drops of organic lime flavor in a bowl and knead into a dough with your hands. Chill the dough for 30 minutes. Then roll out thinly and cut out shapes as desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes. Let the baked cookies cool, then mix the icing from powdered sugar, rum, and the remaining 8 drops of organic lime flavor and brush on. Finally, decorate with sprinkles, etc.
