Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp, levelled cinnamon, ground
  • 125 g margarine or butter, soft
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pack of cream powder (pudding cream), bakeproof
  • 250 ml milk
  • 150 ml apple juice
  • 75 g almond(s), peeled and ground
  • Chocolate sticks (Mikado)
  • Marzipan – raw mass
  • Cocoa powder
  • Food coloring, red and green

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Mix the flour with the baking powder and sift it into a mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix everything with a hand mixer briefly on the lowest speed, then on the highest speed for 2 minutes until you have a smooth batter. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and smooth it out. Bake on the oven rack at 180°C top/bottom heat (160°C fan-assisted) for 30 minutes. Loosen the springform pan edge from the cake, remove it, and let the base cool. Crumble the base into a mixing bowl. Prepare the custard according to the package instructions. Add the cream and apple juice to the crumbs and mix everything with a wooden spoon until smooth. Use a teaspoon to scoop out walnut-sized portions and shape them into balls. Place the almonds on a plate and roll the balls in the almonds. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired. For the snowmen, cut the chocolate sticks into roughly 6 cm pieces and use them to make 3 snowballs, flattening the tops slightly. To decorate, color marzipan with cocoa and red and green food coloring. Shape the marzipan into a hat, eyes, buttons, nose, and scarf, and decorate the snowmen with them.
