Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g margarine
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 75 g flour
  • 250 g cornstarch
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • possibly hazelnuts
  • some powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

My favorite cookies with a fine cardamom note, makes about 30 cookies

Beat the margarine with the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the cinnamon, cocoa powder, and cardamom, gradually kneading in the flour and cornstarch. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for half an hour. Form it into a roughly 2 cm thick roll and cut 1 cm thick slices from each one. These are then shaped into balls and pressed onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper, so that the bottom is flat but the top remains curved. Alternatively, you can roll a nut into the ball, depending on your taste; I prefer it without. Bake the chocolates for 20 minutes at 175°C. Dust the cooled chocolates with powdered sugar for decoration. The cookies will be beautifully crumbly.
