- 200 g chocolate (block chocolate) or powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp oil
- possibly grease for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Melt the butter in a saucepan, then let it cool. Wash the orange in hot water and rub it dry. Grate the zest and squeeze out the juice. Beat the eggs and sugar in a bowl with a whisk (hand mixer) until creamy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir into the egg-sugar mixture along with the orange juice, zest, milk, and butter. Grease the muffin tin if necessary and divide the batter evenly into the holes or baking cups (or both together). Bake the muffins on the middle rack at 180 degrees (convection oven) for about 15 minutes. Then let it cool completely. For the glaze, melt the chocolate with the oil over a hot water bath or use a ready-made glaze. Dip the muffins in the chocolate, decorate with stripes, or leave out the chocolate altogether and just dust with powdered sugar.
