Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 eggs
- 175 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 250 ml water
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 350 g flour
- ½ tsp cinnamon

makes about 40 croissants
Melt the butter and let it cool briefly. Then, using a mixer, combine the remaining ingredients until a thin batter forms. If desired, add half a teaspoon of cinnamon. The batter should flow easily from a spoon. Let stand for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight. Heat the waffle iron and add about 1 tablespoon of batter. Once the waffle is ready, roll it into croissants over a wooden spoon handle. Make sure the batter remains thin; otherwise, add a little water. This amount yields about 40 waffles.
