Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 160 g sugar
- 160 ml water
- 125 g blueberries
- 2 lemons
- 500 ml water, still
- 200 ml vodka
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes
Place 160g sugar, 160ml water, and 125g blueberries in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. As soon as it starts to boil, reduce the heat slightly. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then strain everything, ideally using a colander, and let it chill for 2 hours. Tips: If you’re making multiple batches, you can put everything together in a container and let it chill together to make homemade syrup. Then measure out 300ml of it for further preparation. What’s left in the colander can be used as blueberry jam (tastes amazing, so use it). Squeeze 2 lemons and strain the juice through a colander into the 300ml syrup. Once everything has cooled, pour 500ml water into a container (preferably a bottle), add 300ml of homemade syrup, and finally 200ml of vodka. Now just mix. Pour the contents into a glass, add a few ice cubes and serve.
