Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 lemon(s), untreated
  • ½ liter of vodka
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1.125 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 30 minutes

Rinse the lemons with hot water and finely peel the zest with a vegetable peeler. Then squeeze out the juice. Mix the lemon zest, lemon juice, and vodka with one liter of water and place in a large, sealable bottle. Boil the sugar with 125 ml of water for a few minutes. Allow to cool slightly and add to the vodka mixture. Shake vigorously. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Then filter the contents of the bottle through a sieve lined with cheesecloth. Pour into a large, hot-rinsed bottle and seal tightly until ready to serve.
