Ingredients for 24 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g sugar
  • 200 ml oil
  • 200 ml buttermilk
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 kg apples, peeled, pitted and cut into wedges
  • 150 g butter
  • 75 g sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Juicy apple pie on a baking sheet

For the dough, beat the eggs and sugar until thick. Gradually stir in the oil and buttermilk. Combine the flour and baking powder, stir in quickly, and spread the dough onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 200°C for about 12 minutes. Meanwhile, for the pull-apart dough, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Then add the flour, cocoa, and cinnamon and knead into a soft dough. Distribute the apple slices over the dough and pull the dough over the dough. Bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes.
