Ingredients for 50 servings:
- 50 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 80 g desiccated coconut
- 40 g oat flakes, fine
- 150 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 70 g butter, soft
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1 orange(s), untreated (grated peel)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Mix the flour and baking powder in a bowl. Then add all the remaining ingredients one at a time and beat with a hand mixer until smooth. Let them rest at room temperature for 1/2 hour. Then, with lightly floured hands, form them into walnut-sized balls and place them well apart on baking sheets lined with baking paper. They will spread and become very wide during baking. Bake the cookies one at a time in a preheated oven at 190°C on the second rack from the bottom for 12-15 minutes (8-9 minutes fan-assisted at 170°C). Remove the cookies from the baking sheet using the paper and let them cool on the paper.
