Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 1 egg(s), including the yolk
  • 400 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • ⅛ liter of oil
  • ⅛ liter of water, lukewarm
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 pkt. pudding powder, vanilla
  • 250 g butter
  • some rum
  • Cake icing, chocolate
  • 7 banana(s)
  • 375 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Whisk 200g sugar, 5 egg yolks, oil, water, and cocoa until frothy. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir into the batter, then add the beaten egg whites from the 5 eggs. Spread everything on the baking sheet and bake slowly at 180°C for about 40 minutes. Then peel the bananas, slice them, and place them tightly together on the baking sheet. The cream: Prepare the vanilla pudding with 3/8 l milk, let it cool. Whisk 250g butter, 200g sugar, 1 egg yolk, and 4 tbsp rum until frothy and slowly stir in the cold pudding. Spread the cream over the bananas. Finally, prepare the chocolate glaze according to the instructions and spread it over the cream. Tip: You can also use a packet of Paradiescreme with whipped cream instead of milk. This will set better than the vanilla pudding.
