Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 225 g flour
  • 75 g cornstarch (Mondamin)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 325 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 325 g margarine
  • 100 g jam (sour cherry)
  • 4 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 400 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 200 g cake icing (chocolate)
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix together the flour, Mondamin, baking powder, 125g sugar, and 2 packets of vanilla sugar, then add 125g margarine and the two eggs. Using the dough hook of a hand mixer, knead into a dough. Spread the dough onto a greased baking sheet (lined with baking paper if desired). Spread the jam onto the dough. Heat 200g margarine in a saucepan and melt. Stir in 200g sugar, 2 packets of vanilla sugar, water, and hazelnuts. Spread this mixture onto the dough while still warm. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for approximately 45 minutes. Cut into triangles while still warm. Melt the chocolate glaze and decorate the triangles with it.
