Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 350 g Maultasche(s) from the refrigerated section or homemade
- 1 large zucchini
- 2 m.-sized carrot(s)
- 1 onion(s)
- 3 tbsp olive oil, Italian, cold squeezed
- some rosemary
- lots of marjoram
- lots of thyme
- some salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes
Maultaschen pan-fried with carrots and zucchini in olive oil. A wonderful blend of German and Italian cuisine!
Add the oil to a pan and heat it (not too hot!). Cut the Maultaschen into the thinnest slices possible and add them to the pan. Fry them lightly. Wash the carrots and zucchini. Cut the carrots into small cubes and the zucchini into short strips and add them to the pan. Add more olive oil if necessary. Slice the onion into rings and add them. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, rosemary, and plenty of thyme. Turn off the heat, then finely chop and add plenty of fresh marjoram.
