Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 250 g honey
  • 100 g sugar
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 15 g gingerbread spice
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 5 minutes

Pour the butter, honey, and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a boil briefly, then let cool. Combine all the dry ingredients. Then combine all the ingredients, add the egg, and knead into a dough. Form into a ball and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cut a heart-shaped stencil out of paper or thin cardboard and roll out the dough. Place the stencil on the dough and cut out with a knife. Place the hearts on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes at 160°C. Then let the hearts cool and decorate as desired.
