  • 125 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

quick, easy, few ingredients

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix with the dough hook of a mixer until a firm ball of dough forms. Knead briefly with your hands and refrigerate for about 1/2 hour. Form small, hazelnut-sized balls. Place sugar, brown sugar, or cinnamon sugar on a plate. Press the balls into the oven on both sides until they are flat and bake for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (convection oven), until they just begin to brown. Carefully remove them from the baking sheet, as they are initially soft and break easily. Once cooled, they are very crispy. I baked these cookies often when my children were little. They gave them the name “glitter cookies” because of the glittery sugar.
