Fine oat biscuits with chocolate

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g wheat, finely ground
  • 200 g oat flakes, fine
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 120 g butter
  • 120 g cane sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 g dark chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Combine flour, oats, sesame seeds, and baking powder. Add the remaining ingredients. First, mix with an electric whisk, then knead into a ball by hand. The dough will be quite crumbly at first, but will then become quite smooth. Roll out thinly on a well-floured surface and cut out circles. Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Depending on your oven type, check that the cookies don’t overcook. Once cooled, cover with chocolate coating melted in a bain-marie, or dip the cookies halfway into the chocolate. These cookies also make a lovely souvenir, perhaps in a pretty cookie tin!
