Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 30 g butter
  • 30 g sugar
  • 100 g honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 150 g oat flakes (whole grain)
  • 50 g cornflakes (Kölln oat flakes, also chocolate)
  • 30 g hazelnuts, roughly chopped (alternatively almonds)
  • 30 g sunflower seeds
  • 30 g plum(s), dried
  • 30 g pear(s), dried
  • 30 g apricot(s), dried
  • 30 g raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely dice the dried fruit. Melt the butter, sugar, and honey in a saucepan. Add the lemon juice, oats, cornflakes, hazelnuts, and sunflower seeds and toast until golden brown, stirring constantly. Remove the pan from the heat and stir the diced dried fruit into the mixture. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake on the middle shelf of a preheated oven at 150°C (convection: 130°C, gas mark 1-2) for about 10-15 minutes. Cut into bars while still warm and allow to cool. Store in a tightly sealed container. Makes about 20 bars.
