Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 5 egg yolks
- 250 g butter
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 150 g sugar
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Mix all ingredients into a dough. Wrap in cling film and let rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Then roll into finger-thick sausages and cut into approximately 1 cm wide pieces. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar while still lukewarm.
