Tomato sauce with apple

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 g applesauce
  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 celery
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the celery and cut it into small pieces. Then roast it in oil and deglaze with 200 ml of water. Simmer uncovered until the celery is tender. Then add the tomatoes and applesauce. Bring to a boil and season to taste. Finally, puree everything until a smooth sauce is formed.
