Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g cheese, 3/4 fat, e.g. Gruyère, Emmental, Sbrinz
- 150 g ham, in slices
- 180 g sour cream
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
- salt and pepper
- 500 g puff pastry, ready, from the refrigerated section
- 1 egg(s)
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Coarsely grate the cheese. Roughly chop the ham, mix with the cheese, sour cream, and parsley. Season the mixture and refrigerate until ready to use. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut out 16 circles with a diameter of 12 cm (4.75 inches). Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each circle, brush the edges with beaten egg, fold the dough over, and press the edges firmly together. Brush with egg and pierce several times with a fork. Place the doughnuts on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 15 minutes. Serve warm with a mixed salad.
