Spicy Parmesan biscuits with thyme

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g Parmesan cheese, in one piece
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp thyme, picked leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 18 minutes

makes about 45 pieces

Grate the Parmesan cheese using the coarse side of a grater. Mix well with the chili flakes and torn thyme leaves. Place 1 tablespoon of the Parmesan mixture at 5 cm intervals on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and press down slightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C on the second rack from the bottom for 6-8 minutes until golden brown (gas mark 3, fan oven 180°C). Let cool and remove from the baking paper. A teaspoonful of the Parmesan mixture yields approximately 45 pieces.
