Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 275 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 375 g flour (wheat flour)
  • 1 tsp, heaped baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Melt the butter, brown it, and chill. Once the butter has solidified, beat it until smooth. Gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and milk, stirring until the mixture becomes foamy and white. Sift the flour with the baking powder and stir in a tablespoon at a time. Form the dough into 3-cm-thick rolls and chill until firm. Cut approximately 0.5-cm-thick slices from the rolls, place them on a baking sheet, and bake in a preheated oven (175-200°C) for 10-15 minutes.
