Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500g spaghetti
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 tsp rapeseed oil
- 400 g shrimp(s)
- 250 ml cream
- 1 lemon zest
- 1 piece(s) ginger, thumb-sized, fresh
- 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper
- 3 saffron threads
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 42 minutes
Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, finely dice the garlic and ginger. Heat the oil in a large pan and briefly sauté the garlic and ginger. Once everything has taken on some color, add the shrimp to the pan and fry until translucent, then season with salt and pepper. Add the cream, lemon zest, and saffron, and simmer the sauce over low heat for about 5 minutes. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, season with salt and cayenne pepper, toss briefly, and then serve.
