Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 eggs, separated
- 250 g sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp anise, ground
- 300 g flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 20 minutes
Whisk the egg yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Sprinkle in the salt and aniseed. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form, add to the frothy mixture, sift the flour over the egg whites, and fold both ingredients in loosely. Place the dough mounds on the baking sheet and let them dry overnight. Bake the next day at 150°C for about 25 minutes.
