Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g green spelt flour
- 2 ½ liters of water, cold
- 2 vegetable stock cubes or equivalent amount of vegetable stock powder

simple and so delicious – a different soup
Stir the spelt flour into cold water, add the vegetable stock cube, and bring to a boil. Caution: Stir constantly to prevent it from sticking. Bring to a boil once, then let it simmer for a while and swell. The spelt flour will absorb water over time and swell, giving the soup a creamy consistency. If you’d like it more liquid, simply add more water. Tips: If desired, you can add marrow dumplings, for example, to the soup. I always refine the soup with a dash of cream. It looks great on the plate and, in my opinion, tastes even creamier that way.
