made from wholemeal spelt flour
Cut the figs into pieces. Whisk together the flour, yeast, and salt. Then add the cinnamon and figs. Mix the ingredients with water, honey, and oil until a smooth dough forms. Dust with flour, cover, and let rest in a warm place for about 30 minutes. After the resting time, knead the dough again, shape into an oval loaf (about 20 cm long), and cover again and let rest in a warm place until it has doubled in size (about 20 minutes). Make three or four 2 cm deep cuts in the dough, brush with water, and dust with flour. Preheat the oven (about 200°C) and bake for 40-50 minutes.
