Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g almonds, ground
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp, heaped psyllium husks
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 200 ml water, hot
  • 2 tbsp, heaped chia seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

without flour, sugar and milk

Combine almond flour, salt, baking powder, chia seeds, and psyllium husks. Add the eggs. Mix well, then add hot, but not boiling, water and blend with a mixer. The mixture will be sticky at first, but will then become easily moldable. With wet hands, form a small loaf or roll. Bake at 170°C for approximately 40-50 minutes, depending on the size of the pan. For variation, add herbs, fried onions, caraway seeds, or cardamom.
