a delicious bread as a side dish to almost any dish!
Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water. Mix the flour and a generous pinch of salt. Then add the dissolved yeast to the water and knead everything well by hand (at least 10 minutes). Let the dough rest on the table for 10 minutes. In the meantime, make a garlic oil mixture. Peel the garlic cloves and place them in a measuring jug. Fill with the sunflower oil and puree with a hand blender. Then finely chop the fresh herbs. Now form the dough into 3 baguettes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Lightly score the surface of the baguettes. Pour the garlic oil over them, add the olive oil, and spread the herbs evenly. Finally, sprinkle the baguettes with coarse sea salt. Use plenty of oil; a slight “oil mirror” should form around the loaves. The bread will only absorb as much oil as it needs during baking! Then let the baguettes rest on the baking sheet for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the baguettes for 15-20 minutes. The baguettes taste best served warm!
