Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 115 g butter, soft
  • 165 g brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 250 ml milk
  • 3 banana(s), ripe
  • 90 g walnuts, chopped
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Banana-Nut-Bread

Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat in. Sift the flour with the baking soda and mix with the salt. Gradually fold some of the milk and flour mixture into the egg mixture until both are fully incorporated. Peel the bananas and puree them with a hand blender (I personally like them chunky), then fold them into the batter. Fold the walnuts into the batter and pour everything into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven to 180°C for 90 minutes. Then let the bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes.
