Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp, heaped parsley, dried
- 1 m.-sized carrot(s)
- 1 bell pepper(s), green
- 2 peppers, medium hot
- 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
- 750 ml water
- 1 cup rice
- 150 g meat sausage (any type of meat sausage)
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Wash, peel, and thinly slice the carrot. Wash the bell pepper and cut into 2 cm wide strips. Wash and finely chop the chili pepper. Cut the sausage into small cubes. Heat oil in a saucepan and briefly fry the diced sausage. Add 1 can of chopped tomatoes and 750 ml of water. Add the bell pepper, carrot, chili pepper, 1 cup of rice, salt, pepper, and parsley. Bring to a boil briefly, then simmer over low heat for 15-17 minutes. Stir every 3 minutes.
