Strawberry jam with sparkling wine

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g strawberries
  • 250 ml sparkling wine, semi-dry
  • 1 pkt. gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash and hull the strawberries, cut them into small pieces, and place them in a large saucepan. Add the gelling sugar and sparkling wine. Purée with a hand blender if desired. Bring to a boil while stirring. Once boiling, simmer for 4 minutes, stirring continuously. Then pour the mixture into hot, rinsed jars and seal immediately.
