Chocolate Kiss Muffins

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 20 small chocolate kisses (mini chocolate kisses)
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 80 ml oil (sunflower oil)
  • 250 g buttermilk
  • some Nutella

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

enough for approx. 12 pieces

Halve 6 marshmallows and set aside (this works best with a warm knife if the marshmallows have been refrigerated beforehand). Separate the remaining marshmallows from the wafers. Cut the wafers into small pieces and crush the remaining marshmallows with a fork. Mix together the flour, baking powder, and wafer pieces. Beat the egg. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, oil, marshmallow mixture, and buttermilk. Mix everything thoroughly. Stir in the flour mixture, but only until all the dry ingredients are moistened. Line the muffin tin with paper cases and pour the batter into them. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Let the muffins rest briefly, remove from the tin, spread with a little Nutella, and place the halved marshmallows on top. Great for children’s birthdays.
