Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g spinach, frozen
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp salt
- pepper
- 100 g Parmesan
- chili pepper(s)
- butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Thaw the spinach. In a saucepan, beat the eggs with the sour cream. Add salt, pepper, garlic, nutmeg, and finely chopped chili pepper, if desired. Stir the mixture into the spinach thoroughly. Preheat the oven to 170°C. Grease a baking dish with butter. Pour the spinach mixture into the dish, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and bake for 30 minutes. Tip: Instead of Parmesan cheese, you can also sprinkle the flan with breadcrumbs and add small flakes of butter.
