Salmon and cheese casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 salmon fillets (approx. 180 g each)
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 100 g Parmesan
  • 300 g cream
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 50 ml dry white wine
  • 1 tsp butter for the mold
  • 1 tbsp peppercorns, green from the jar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Rinse the salmon, pat dry, and place it in a buttered baking dish. Finely dice the onion and sprinkle it over the salmon. Finely grate the Parmesan cheese and mix well with the cream, mustard, lemon juice, and white wine. Add the peppercorns and season with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over the salmon. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. The salmon fillets should still be slightly translucent. Ribbon pasta makes a delicious side dish.
