Spread the love

Ingredients for 17 servings:

  • 15 dried red chili peppers (brave ones can use more)
  • 1 bottle of vodka (0.7 liters)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Chili Vodka

Add dried chili peppers to the vodka bottle, seal tightly, and let stand for at least two weeks (or four is better). Then strain the liquid and pour it back into the bottle. Serve ice cold if you’re asked to buy a drink. I’ve tried this several times at my local bar and it’s become a cult classic. However, you should have dry bread handy to ease the pain for the astonished tasters. I also recommend always having a camera with you during the tasting so you can capture those unique faces forever. Variation: Replace the vodka with white rum.
