Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), scraped or 2 tsp vanilla extract powder
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 350 ml cream
  • 360 ml schnapps (corn) (at 34%)
  • 1 pack of vanilla pudding powder for cold mixing

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 10 minutes

Whisk the egg yolks, vanilla, powdered sugar, and cream in a mixer until fluffy. Then slowly add the cornstarch. Slowly add the custard powder to the mixer and whisk for a while until fluffy. Store in a container and let it sit for about a day. It usually doesn’t keep that long.
