Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g margarine
  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 drops of oil (lemon baking oil, 1/2 bottle)
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 ½ kg apples, or 2 glasses of cherries
  • some apple juice
  • possibly vanilla sugar
  • 150 g flour
  • 80 g butter
  • 80 g sugar
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Beat the margarine until fluffy and add the sugar, then beat the eggs into the mixture, one at a time. Drizzle the flavoring into the sugar and egg mixture, then combine the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt and fold into the batter. Grease a springform pan and spread the batter on top. Peel and core the apples, then chop them into small pieces. Briefly sauté them in a little apple juice (add a little sugar and vanilla sugar depending on the variety). Let the cooked apples cool slightly and then add them to the batter. Prepare the crumble topping and sprinkle it on top (omit the cinnamon if using cherries). Bake for approximately 45 minutes at 180/200 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat).
