Roasted apples with oat flakes, raisins and dates

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 apples, peeled, pitted and cut into wedges
  • 4 tbsp raisins
  • 100 g date(s), pitted and chopped
  • 100 g oat flakes, fine
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch of ginger powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

an alternative to the classic baked apple

Fry the apples with the spices, vanilla sugar, honey, and oatmeal in a pan with a little butter. Finally, add the raisins and chopped dates. Serve with warm or cold vanilla sauce and, if desired, whipped cream.
