Apple tiramisu

Mix the quark and mascarpone in a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until stiff and fold into the quark mixture. Sweeten everything with as much vanilla sugar as you like. In a baking dish, line a layer of ladyfingers (sugar side down) and soak them in the apple juice and Calvados mixture (3:1 ratio, but just apple juice will also work). Spread a layer of applesauce on the ladyfingers and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Then add a layer of cream. Repeat layer by layer up to the edge of the baking dish (finishing with cream). Let the apple dream sit in the refrigerator for about 4-6 hours and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar before serving. Tip: In autumn, it’s especially good to mix fresh apple pieces into the applesauce.
